Synopsis: An ornithologist embedded in a colony of shearwaters on the tiny island of Linosa in the Mediterranean battles to change the fortunes of the birds’ declining population. His biggest challenge is to win the hearts and minds of the locals, who are determined to continue their age-old tradition of collecting and eating the seabirds’ eggs.
