Draw and Response is an exploration of live artwork through improvisation. A collaborative project: the artists work on individual workstations, using a combination of various materials; such as paint, oil, liquids, translucencies, textiles and lights. The work is combined into a singular piece, by layering different camera feeds together with a video mixer. Using primarily analogue techniques to create live visuals, Draw and Response seeks to create emotional experiences through abstract visual language; signs, symbols and metaphors.
